sprgfvr02: Mine is a trike gear w/Saito 72, I mounted the battery up front in the fuel compartment. When I flew the plane, it was slow coming off the runway and the whole flight acted like was nose heavy. Balancing inverted on a Great Planes balancer. Wish I had an answer.
