Glad I could help. I probably should add the photo of the turret innards after I said I would!

A trick that I use that seems to be discussed is lengthening the emitter cable to put it in longer barrels. Hard corps battlers always put their emitters in the barrel and the big boys (and Fireflies) need help.

My secret to a clean build is using another M.G. emmitter LED and splicing the wires so you get the same guage wire, same style plug, and (in my experience) it always works. I hope this helps and you can always get the M.G. for a few bucks.


I had to do that for a couple of tanks, one because the barrel was too narrow below the muzzle break and one, my SU-152, due to barrel length from the MFU. I also cut and lengthened the comm. cable to move the dmd further from the MFU.

Great looking build. it provides incentives for me to go back to mine and do more stuff.
