Normally ,I would agree, but the original post said it was to be used in a pattern type plane, hence my suggestion to use a 10/6. You don't need that much torque, but I suppose these O.S. engines can't turn the revs I'm used to. Frankly, 12,000 or so is pathetic for an engine of that price
