After more checking, the magnet on the engine has got to have the North facing outward and is smaller in Dia than the other magnet that would trigger the spark from both sides of the pick-up. Also I notice the curved side of pick-up will trigger form 1/4 inch away. Flip itover & it has to be 1/16 inch away ...further than that...no spark. So it looks like curved side off all 3 picks trigger best with curve side towards North pole of magnet. I looked at the magnet on the engine (with a magnifier)& it has no letters, but I do notice a small chip on the left edge of magnet. Anyone ever replace a magnet on a DLE30? How does DLE install it ,in case I want to replace it? Capt,n
