I'm with you Captain John.... those Hall sensors are way overpriced. If you look at the Digikey site or somewhere similar, you will see that the sensors themselves are super cheap. The vendors are making anywhere from 5 to 12 dollars for soldering on three wires with a connector. If anyone is wondering "what's the big deal?", well, I usually have anywhere from 5 to 12 airplanes flying at one time, and engines in testing besides. 12 bucks a pop for sensors adds up!
