Servo question. Enlightenment, please!
I am bumfuzzled. Needingstouter servosthan the Grayson nanos I have on the elevator and ailerons of my sport-built Great Planes 3D EP Yak 55, I am looking at the Futaba lineup.
The S3107 Micro (9g) is the exact same size as the S3114 High-Torque Micro (7.8 g). The weights are listed as the same, .3 oz. The High-Torque servo is shown as having a lot more torque, yet is $3.00 cheaper. I don't get it. What do the specifications 9g and 7.8g refer to? Why is the stronger servo cheaper? Why would one pay three dollars more for what seems to me to be the lesser servo?????
I'm missing something here. I would appreciate some edgumacation, please.
Thanks,
Dave
