RE: Sig Kadet Senior
Do a thread in Kit Building. As this is in the Beginner forum I'm guessing that this is your first (or nearly first) build. (I didn't look at your original post - sorry). Start the thread as you're doing your planning. Tools, build tables, techniques, whatever you think of. There are many, many builders familiar with the Senior. Get their input. Take the bits and pieces from their input that you find appealing. Store the others away for future use. Take plenty of pictures and post 'em. This is a very "sharing" community - if you let them.
Best of luck with your kit!!!!!
PS - Oh, don't be afraid about start topic-specific threads in other forums to get the best input. Like - best practice on breaking in the Super Tigre 45.
The basic suggestions for the build just might include:<ul>[*]tail dragger (my favorite)[*]ailerons - Bob Nelson of SIGsuggests long 2" ailerons (strip) hung off the trailing edge of the wing. Use a larger piece of wood for the trailing edge if you do.[*]eliminate the rubber band wing attachment - take a chapter from the ARF. I did this on my Senior &LT-40.[*](depending on flying skills) reduce the dihedral of the wing.[*](depending on space in your vehicle) make it a 1-piece wing.[/list]Let the chaos begin ...
