That was the rule with my old RC car packs too... This is my first nimh pack though, and I didn't really know what to expect! Hopefully the GWS peak charger will keep that from happening again.
As it is, when I bench test the plane the motor will run 4.5 mins on a full charge before the ESC cuts it off. The specs for this plane call for 10-15 min runs. I don't know if I roasted my battery, or if time is faster in China!

The motor is a 380, and the battery is an 8.4v 600mah that looks like AAA cells.
