?'s about the Aurora 60/90.
Reading up on this airplane, it seems the 90 is the same airplane as the 60 with a simple adjustment to the firewall to compensate for the 90. Is this correct?
Also, I have templates and a set of plans for the Aurora 60. As expected, all dimensions are metric. What is the general rule here for American wood conversions? Do I round up or down from the metric? Any advice on the belly pan and canopy?
I have a UFO to finish and fly for a while before I start work on this project. I would agree with Atlanta 60 in his posts regarding opinion on this airplane. I like it too.
After the completion of the UFO I will be saving up on equipment and parts for a year or two since my budget is limited. I'd like to power it with a new YS 115 when I can.
Did anyone have much luck with the flaps designed into the wing? Is it a worthwhile addition? How about the variable pitch props?
Any info and pictures for motivation/inspiration the next few years would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Brian
