Thanks for all of the info you've posted here. It has helped to convince me to buy a P3 "kit" (should be here Wed. and I'm very excited). I'll be mounting a generic 64mm fan with a 5250kv outrunner (from Nitro Planes) and a 40 amp ESC. I plan to use a 3s 2200mah battery and mg servos.
The motor/fan combo was first installed in a mini-F16 that was just not born to fly.
It appeared to have plenty of power but, the airframe was junk.
The combo above will produce 420 watts at 38amps WOT using the 3s 2200mah. What kind of performance do you think I'll get using this equipment?
