My recommendations:
A. New Era skid plate set $50
B. New Era roll bar $50
C. RPM A-arms F/R total $60
D. New Era F/R aluminumcarriers/steering knuckles $80 total (these reduce outer bearing wear significantly, if your in high dust/heat environment, they are recommended)
E. Dynamite or Hot racing engine brace $15
F. BAC steering link $10
G. If you have the extra funds, a pair of Tower Hobbies/Hobbico TS or CS 170 servos(which are rebadged Hitec 7955 hi torque/speed servos) $160 pair.
The above done willgarentee a pretty much bulletproofmonster truck. If you still have a bit left in the budget,lookat going with a set of hard anodized shock bodies($50) and some aluminum bulkheads($66 for F/R)and some aluminumgearbox outputsupports($26 for a pair)to reduce flex in the drivetrain.
