yeah, just have had no word from him at all. Don't know what the situation is and cant get a reply to emails. now everyone here know's i have been a loyal supporter for quite awhile now but I just have no answers so i would not try ordering anything until we hear some word from Bill himself as too the state of his intension's with the business. What a shame.
I don't know the man (men?), I've not had any dealings with him, traded a few email but I'd always believed his intent was honest. Can't imagine anyone going through that much trouble to set up a business just to defraud a few modeler types out of a few thousand $$. I've had sidebars with several folks and we've all heard stories of difficulties of one sort or another. My leanings are to have sympathy for the principals (owners) behind RC Command but that said I have to say it would be better to halt operations for a long enough interval to put the difficulties to rest and restart only when the path is clear. If their problems are simply supply chain in nature , again while understandable they need to be more communicative with their customer base. That's the part I don't understand, having had small tank-model related businesses in the past I know it's a tough crowd and the rewards minimal under the best of times so why not just declare a hiatus until all the problems are behind them? All businesses create a perception and reputation, big businesses commonly refer to it as their 'brand' and that brand as an asset which stands for integrity, execution and customer care is highly guarded and nurtured. RC Command does themselves more harm than good every time someone brings their 'brand' into question.
