Sad to hear about you guys getting stiffed,
I only ever had one problem dealing with them and that was when I ordered a Tiger 1, I got charged twice for the same Item and after a few phone calls managed to get everything sorted out. It seems from what I have read that he is indeed out of buisness and ripping people off, as for the outstanding order's I would be taking a trip to texas to stick a boot in a...

Anyone thught about reporting him to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) Might get his attention pretty quick Heres a link to the Texas BBB offices (cant remember what town he is in) http://www.bbb.org/us/find-a-bbb/

Best of luck guys,
Jonathan

What makes it bad for me is that Im noob when it comes to the tank side of RC, I only have 2, a Hobby Engine M1A2 and a HL Jagdpanther.

I usually go through the posts and research a little before I make my move and I wanted a tank that I can upgrade without too much hassle so I used the listing for the stores that was created here but I guess someone has to change that list to warn people about rccommand

This is sad indeed....I honestly must say that my dealings with him in the past have been decent. Never really fantastic or great, but decent if I allowed myself to be patient of a response from him. But, then again....I have to be brutally honest and always took heed of continuous complaints from members here and never, ever, ever, spent more than $25 dollars at any given time. That was my personal spending limit with him and was always ready to either file a dispute or write it off should I too share some of the disappointing experiences. It's funny in an unfortunate and pathetic kind of way that people (forum members) who fully knew of Rccommandssporadicand iffy business dealings would take such a chance with a large sum, simply because of an "occasional" reply. Too many other reliable vendors available for me to take that kind of risk, but to each is their own.<div></div><div>Any who, hope he gets his stuff straight and hope the could bevictimsget their matters resolved. It's undeniable that the sums are too large to ignore and legal advice shoulddefinitelybe considered. Paid for and undelivered items after a certain amount of time is fraud and theft no matter how you slice it.</div><div></div><div>Good luck to all!</div>

I quit ordering from him after my personal experience and the multiple posts from those that had problems. There was a hard sell by various members to cover up the lack of communications or to cut him slack and I often butted heads over that.
Sad part is that he had a great selection. This is the good part about capitalism as once he is gone someone else will step in to fill that gap and from what I am hearing it will be someone that cares about customer service. Win-win for everyone except those out their money.

Well, I think raidentech has officially surrendered its top ranking among the worst places to order to Bill's RCC. Time to update the sticky thread with a black flag on RCC and some positive reviews on raiden. I was waiting for him to release the steel gearboxes for KV-1 and Jagdpanther and was ready to give them a try, I guess I was lucky he never listed them on his web site. He could have done so even if they weren't available and just taken the money, scary!

Unfortunate, but I guess some people have good business savvy and customer service skills, and others don't. Fortunately, most of the one's that don't, die off with a whimper and it's over. But then there's the one's that twist and writhe in the wind, burning more and more people as they do.

Cripes, call it quits RCCommand, liquidate what you can and get people the money you owe them. Better to be poor and honest, than poor and despised.

Mike.

I stopped by there yesterday, and his shopping cart software no longer works - you press 'add to cart' and you end up on the home page of the shopping cart software vendor
It looks like he is no longer in business - or at least not paying the bills right now. Its a shame, as he did have a lot of good stuff there for a while. He always came thru for me (maybe later rather than sooner in some cases, but always in the end!), so I have no axe to grind here - others have different opinions, so you're not alone in your dissatisfaction[&o].
I'm truly sorry for all you guys who didn't get what you ordered [] but I can't help feeling sad that another vendor who offered something a little different seems to have bit the dust here... [&o]

I really did not want to get back into this thread but it seems from what EPT says it looks like Bill is out of business. It is a shame. When things where going properly he was a great guy to deal with and always had some very interesting parts. i too feel bad for you guy's that are still having issues. I don't know how to tell you how too get them resolved other than make claims with Paypal or your credit card companies.<div> I spent a lot of time defending Bill when things started going in the wrong direction for him but there is only so much a person can do. He hit some really hard times, he probably should have called it quits sooner, but definitely should have let everyone know about it.</div><div> It seems to be a pattern with these guys, Backyard Armor did the same thing. Here one day, gone the next.</div>
