We run the .46fx in our club races in predators and other Q500 planes. I've seen a few OS .50s, and they appear to have a bit more power than the .46 in roughly the same size case (It might be the same size, not sure).

I wouldn't hesitate in going with the .50 if you don't mind the extra $40.
