That is fine.....I get 8 with mine. I heard that it can burn up the ESC.....I guess this aint totally true?
If someone is burning up they're esc they are doing something wrong [:-]
you can get longer runtimes if you use bigger packs
or run two 4000mah 4s packs in parallel and get about 8min of full speed racing out of it
