What is this bench going to be used for . I have found that a bench that you can work from all sides is better for building on and also away from any walls specially when you just cant get to the part you are trying to fix from one side or the other .
I use an old teachers hard wood desk that I got from an old school sale years ago the top work surface is 36"X60" and that is a good size for me to work on and I can actually move all the way around the table to get the angle I need .
