Your bench looks great so far! Nice framework too.

Here are a few pics of my main assembly bench that I call "Benchzilla" It's just over 4x8 and serves double duty as a bench for my tablesaw. It has it's own dust collection system, electrical system with 8 concealed plugs, and built in tool drawers and balsa storage.

I like your idea of an L shape bench as that seems to be a good use of your space available. It's handy to be able to work on a fully assembled plane.
