maynardrupp- thanks for the feedback, if you ever decide not to rebuild, your Phoenix let me know and I will be glad to pcik up the remaining pieces.

I will look into other landing gear options, but the stock landing gear does not hold up well at all!! time for 30 min epoxy and some landing gear modifications!

Bob, I never had any issues with the gear box, just that soft aluminum gear. I had a guy in toledo, and if you look back to last year's posts, or maybe 2008, You should find some threads about that and I gave the name of the guy in Toledo that made mine from 6061T-6 alum. That works just fine. I think it was about $40.00 though.
