I flipped the tail motor to increase cooling. Found the "press on" tail rotor would pull itself off the motor. I'm sure you could get the prop to stay on with glue, but I had a brushless system ready with a HH gyro and installed that.
Toolmaker59, if your tail motor doesn't work, try removing it and applying a 1.5 volt battery to it to test it. If it works, then you know your eboard is fried. Usually the eboard goes up in smoke if the wires going to the tail motor are somehow touching each other. Check the wiring.
