RE: Gas engine choice for Lanier Stinger 120
Yep....DLE 30 would be great but you will need to add nose weight I am sure. It would prob. offer the greatest flexibility in the future if you are going to be buying an engine for this plane. Those stingers (1.20 especially) have been powered by everything from big glow engines to converted weedeater/saw engines and pricey 40+cc types.
If built right, you could prob. get away without adding too much nose weight if you went with the DLE 30. Good luck!
