Hi All


I am building my first r/c gas engine and I am wondering how badly I got ripped off . I bought a new CRRC-PRO 45electronic ignition off of eBay . The item that arrived is not the same as the one pictured in the ad . The ad was for a black unit and sensor in a separate bag and I got a chromed unit with the sensor in the same bag . Could someone please tell me the difference between these two units . I did a search and the chrome unit is mentioned here but not much info is give . One person said that the chrome unit has no auto-advance . Is this true ? If there is no auto-advance I could use it to rebuild an antique outboard . If ithas an auto-advance Iwould use it on the r/c engine . Any advice would be appreciated . I am just dabbling at this point and I know that the CRRC ignition does not have a greatreputation here . I just want to play with my toys . ..... D.J.
