2,5hp is more then enough. and after tuning 2-stroke motocross engines for 25 years..
don't kid yourself on how much horsepower will be gained.
18x8 3-blade prop, 7000rpm and a scalelike 65mph is all I need.
Just hackin' on ya...
I plan to see exactly what a carbon pipe will do to one of these engines here shortly.
Someone asked some where in this ever growing thread about choke setups. Here is mine as well as some pics of my Jtech standard size Pitts wrap around muffler on my ancient Aeroworks Edge 540T. If you don't recognize that red "bracket" I'm using, it is one of those big red servo arms you get with Hitec servos. I cut two legs off of it, heated it with a heat gun, twisted it and drilled a couple of holes in it. Nothing fancy.
