NRAD2000:
After trimming my cowl so that it is just ~1/2" longer than the ears it bolts to (1/4-3/8" overlap with fuselage), I mounted my remote glow hookup just 3/8" behind the cowl line, in the on the RHS of the fuselage, middle of the white stripe. So it ends up maybe 3/4" behind the front of the firewall. Works and looks OK there. I chose RHS because there should be less oil there.....but there is no oil anywhere but the bottom now that I have the exhaust coming out the bottom.
