Help needed

A range check is walking away from your airplane while operating the controls to be sure you have a good radio link.
The Skippy is right in the size range you said was desired, you will still have to buy one or more flight batteries, all the radio gear, the motor controller, and a charger. Starting at $110 for the airplane and motor, you can easily end up around $250 or more, if this is a consideration.
I'm not personally familiar with the Skippy, but Robbe in general has a good reputation. Do a search here on the name "Robbe" and you might even find a reference to the Skippy.
