Recently I placed an order of $ 330.00 with QTH, quickly I found that this shop has a very strange way of working and soon enough my alarm senses were telling me I was in trouble ( no e-mail responses, no real phone to discuss my order status, etc )
I read this forum and this was my solution:
Called my credit card bank and explained to them the complete situation, they double check that QTH still hadn´t charge my card so they just reported my card as a LOST CARD, no one will be able to charge anything to it and I will receive a new plastic in no more than 10 days. Now I will place the order with a good online shop and I will sleep better........
QUICK UPDATE: I posted the above note on 21 Oct 2010....
YESTERDAY 01 December 2010 I received an e-mail from Quick Tech Hobby ( Larry ) telling me this: Your order has not been processed
The credit card was not accepted and cannot be put into the "system"
See order below:
This is normally due to a typo on the credit card number or expiration date.
Please try the order again with the corrected information.

Poor guy, right now I am FINISHING my Seawind yatch that I ordered from RCBoyz after I reported my card LOST so that I won´t be scammed by QTH!

I wonder what Customer Service or Hobby Shop Network is he damn talking about, why the heck he did not answer my emails before I decided to report my card lost?
I TELL YOU WHY: He just wanted MY money.
