You are right about one thing. Flying model jets is very cool. But you have to learn the basics first, usually with a prop plane

You can learn the basics, in one of two ways, easy or hard.

The easy way is to join a club and lean with proper instruction from people who have a wealth of experience in RC planes, and know how to teach you.

The hard way is to do it alone. It is possible, but most people who go this route get so frustrated at constantly crashing, they just give up.
