Default Wartime Beetle

Got lucky and came across an old Revell 1/16th Beetle she is a 1951/52 model
so I am back dating her to a wartime machine. She will get a rad camo job
and she will be RC as I have modded her to fit on a Tamiya Kublewagon chassis.

I wanted to use the Kuble body as well so with a bit of planning and careful cutting have
removed the guards from the bottom half of the Kuble and attached them to the top half.
Hopefully you can see what I am saying in the below pic, original Kuble at top.

Glued in some mounts with screws to remove body, as you can see the Kuble chassis is
almost perfect size wise, pretty happy with that!

Slapped on some paint.

Also doing a 1/25th diecast Beetle to the left and 1/35th scale Beetle to the right.

If I am going to set up the airbrush try and make it worth while so painting up a bit of a fleet
of Beetles, 1/16, 1/25 and 1/35th.

Got some camo on found a nice scheme, couldn't resist!

Also converting a 1/25th diecast Beetle to wartime colours.

This aws a lot harder to do than it looks!

Had to scratch build horns on bumper, horn and guard mounted convoy light.

And don't forget the Kublewagon.
