you want the best of both worlds dont you!
there are scale rigs, and crawler rigs. a scale rig is much more porportioned, and thus is more limited as to what it can crawl over.

the axial SCX is a great scale rig. it can still drive through mud, over small rocks ect.
the axial ax10 has a semi scale body, but is a better crawler. i think both of the axials run $230-$250 ready to run
the redcat rs10 XT is a great "low budget" crawler. i put a better looking body on mine. but its not a scale looking truck. but it can crawl over alot and only costs $170 ready to run with battery and charger.
