Not a Brija (that would be me) conversion. Very similar but yet several differences. I always painted the engine case after trimming, carb linkage was mounted directly on the crankcase, all crankcases were tapped for smoke, all flywheels had the fins removed, ignition did not have a ground wire, backplate was thinner and releived for the spring starter which they all had and I never built anything but a 4.2. As a side note to the new owner, I doubt there is any normal living human being with an arm big enough to hand start that engine/ignition combination and the reason all of mine had spring starters. That one will require an electric starter.
