Default RE: Tuned Pipe throttle question

ORIGINAL: jaka

You don't have to set up a tuned pipe!!!!!
Most pipe systems are plug and play!

Like the JETT, Nelson or MVVS systems! On these systems there is nothing to adjust! Just mount the pipe and go! What you have to adjust is the choice of prop size, fuel (nitro content) tank system and glow plug.
Jan,

I beg to disagree with the maroon colored statement.

The examples that you gave; the JettStream, the UltraThrust (and to a lesser degree, the MVVS tuned mufflers), are hardly full-length tuned-pipes.
They are 'set and forget', but the first two are more limited in the range of props they can be used with.

Even a full-length pipe claimed to be pre-tuned, really isn't and it can be tweaked for length, if top performance is desired.
