for snow you need waterproof.
many of traxxas' models are now waterproof. 2wd is ok in 1-2 inches of snow. any deeper and you will need 4wd.
since you like micros/minis and want to drift, look for a micro RS4. you can get drift tires for them and be sliding around the kitchen floor easy.
rock crawlers can also be fun in the snow. they are not fast, but if setup right they can go through alot of snow.
