Hey guys
I havent been on here in a while because I havent had time to play around with the toys lately. With the winter coming, I was hoping to get something fun and different to rip around in the snow with. I currently have a totally tricked out Mini-T which lasts about 3 seconds because I keep stripping out the transfer case or whatever you call it. I also have a micro version which I have been slowly hopping up. I love them both. Id like something different. I was thinking about getting into drifting, if they make something I can rip around my house with easily. I really would like something for the snow... any advice?

for snow you need waterproof.
many of traxxas' models are now waterproof. 2wd is ok in 1-2 inches of snow. any deeper and you will need 4wd.
since you like micros/minis and want to drift, look for a micro RS4. you can get drift tires for them and be sliding around the kitchen floor easy.
rock crawlers can also be fun in the snow. they are not fast, but if setup right they can go through alot of snow.

in your first post you said you wanted something to play with in the snow, this car will not go far in the snow, if at all.
i'm confused
the rc18r is a nice little touring car, but hardly something snow worthy.

there are plenty of snow capable trucks out there.
kyosho makes a snow cat.
traxxas trucks, tamiya trucks, just about anything thats of decent size can be made "snow proof".
here's what i just built for some fun snow action:
i put the speed control and receiver in a plastic bag and zip tied it to the chassis.
