Thats pretty standard for trim setting. You set your trim for a slightly high idle. If you come in to land with the throttle stick all the way down and its landing a little fast, you can trim down a little or go around and trim down on the go around. The trim is used by many as the throttle kill on glow engines.

Oh ya, practice dead sticks so you wont freak out WHEN it happens to you. I usually fly till I run out of fuel, so dead sticks are the norm for me. When I do have a dead stick low to the ground, it doesn't bother me at all.
