Yah, the D-Box is not needed, but for your daughter, a good way to get her started, until she gets the hang of countersteer correction. Just dial out the gain slowly, once she gets used to a particular setting, so the wheels don't turn as much each time you adjust. Then once she's weaned off the box, put it on an off-road car or truck. It'll do much better there, and will make the car or truck much faster! You'll notice you can corner faster in the dirt with a D-Box!
