You will never retire it unless you pile drive it in.
And I can PROVE that even that is not enough to do it in.
My Big Stik is flying after some relatively easy repairs, following a high speed straight down crash, that split the fuse in five places, threw off the tail, and broke the wing mounts off...
One evening of repairs and the next evening another hour or so for an easy recover of the fuse and it's been flying just fine since.
