Default Retiring Pulse 60. what next?

Happy Holidays everyone..

Well after almost 3 years I am retiring my Hanger 9 Pulse, its has a couple hundred flights on it and has been well used by several people in the club. I am looking for another everyday type plane, what I have to put in another plane is an Os 75Ax and some hitec 645mg servos. Looking for ARF's only.
I fly off a fairly rough grass field, so I would prefer to stay away from anything with retracts..

Lets get this search under way

Thanks

A good home for your .75 AX would be the Phoenix Models Extra 330. Nice size, good flyer, parts support, a really enjoyable airplane. Those Hitec 645MG servos might be overkill; I'm running their equivalents in a much bigger airplane and have Hitec 425HB servos in the Extra. You can leave the wheel pants off and throw on some bigger wheels for grass field ops.

A Great Planes 70" Revolver is an excellent flying plane that would do very well with the .75-AX.

They are also coming out with a .60 size Escapade. You might find that is too similar to your pulse but you never know.<br type="_moz" />

Ditto on the Revolver. Another option would be the H-9 Saratoga althought the 75 would be too much for it

I also suggest the GP Revolver 70. Another choice is the new 60 size GP Escapade:

I have been flying the 40 size Escapade for 2 years and love it so, I preordered the new 60 size.

Well, all of the above and you could send the Pulse 60 to me for "further use"

If you're thinking about trying a bipe, the GP Super Skybolt is great fun with a 75AX. I've been flying that combo most of this season. Good thread with lots of info here in RCU.

Great Planes Reactor Bipe. Very aerobatic and 3D's nicely if you wish. Something a little different than your single wing planes.

Big Stik 60. Stik. Stik. Stik.

You will never retire it unless you pile drive it in.

Or possibly a profile ARF. Something like the RazorYak from OMP. That is what I'm considering next if the Stik ever meets its demise.

Only 200 flights and you are retiring the bird? Hmmm....I have around 300+ (many a hard flight too) on my small Pulse XT 40 with a 55AX! A little epoxy and glue here and there and she is still smokin' strong! OK, so because of the extra glue my Pulse is a tad heavier now...no big deal at all [X(]

Big Stik 60. Stik. Stik. Stik.

YES!

A .75 is perfect for this plane...

And I can PROVE that even that is not enough to do it in.

My Big Stik is flying after some relatively easy repairs, following a high speed straight down crash, that split the fuse in five places, threw off the tail, and broke the wing mounts off...

One evening of repairs and the next evening another hour or so for an easy recover of the fuse and it's been flying just fine since.
