These ARE great servos for the price.

They are so good that many big name U.S. distributors have picked them up. You'll also find them for sale all over the U.S. ( Google search

I've not used the 1501 servo, but I have used the 9501.

opjose, what you have said above are good comments. I like the first one as it qualifies the servo. There are many things in my humble opinion that ARE great...............for the price. It's relative.

As for the distributors that have picked them up, again you are correct but there is at least one very reputable dealer that has dropped the Power HD line due to failure rates. So again, it's relative.

Like I said, I've not used the 1501 but have used the 9501 and I had one of them on an elevator half fail on it's 3rd flight. Now don't put words in my mouth........name brands servos could do the same yes. I just don't care to trust my 50cc plane to the "cheap" servo any longer. Took all of them out of the airframe as soon as I managed to get it on the ground. If anyone wants them, let me know.

Conversely, I do know a number of people that swear by them. Then again it's like that no matter what equipment you're talking about.

So my take is that if a person chooses to risk it, and they have good results, then they should be most grateful.

Like I said, my humble opinion.
