ESM P-47, thoughts please...

I am looking at the ESM P-47 as was wondering if anyone has some input on it, the good, bad and the ugly..

I am a builder by heart and have some warbirds on the table, but this looks like a nice plane for me and my 10 year old son to put together. If itflies as good as it looks, it should be a good every day type plane. At $299.00 seems well priced.

Also, how are the retracts that they offer for it, they look nice and with the wheels, it is a pretty good deal @ $139.00 compared to other options.

Last one, if I go with this plane I was thinking of trying one of the 26cc motors that they offer.. Anyone ever use one, are they any good? My thought behind the 26cc gasser is it could be used on another project down the road, a B-25 to be exact not sure what one yet…

But any way, $169.00 seems pretty cheap to me for a motor like this. I watched the vid and it looked like it had some power..

This one is the same price and a little more horse power, but only a 1 year warranty verse a 2 year on the other.. Sure would like some feed back on these. .
