Sure - What would you like to know?
I will hazard a guess that the following might answer the majority of the questions.
YD-A Enignes.
There are only 2 sizes of them. a 56cc and a 112cc. There will not be a 23, a 32, a 38 and a 42 or any other size released under the brand name in Australia, the USA or the UK. How can I make such a statement? I own the registration of the Names YDA, YD-A, Y D A, Y-DA and a couple of opther variants in those countries (and a couple of other countries.
I also still have the rights to the molds for the cylinders, crankcases and cranks for the 56 and the 112.
Here is the history behind it.
I developed the YD-A's including prototyping a 23, a 32, a 38 and a 42 ready for production. The originals were all madde in Australia with some chinese components (such as RC Excel ignitions, Common use Pistons etc), Due to rising production costs and the lack of interests by the Aussies (The market here is either buy very cheap from China or buy DA) I let RC Aero (Henry) take over the marketing. I got convinced to send the molds and crankcase codes to JC enignes in China for the 56 and the 112 to allow RC Aero to have a more competitive engine. That was my big regret as about a month later another company was being supplied with the same crankcases etc in their REV engines. Due to some personal issues with the owners of RC aero, The brand is near non existent now and I have never actually authorised any new distributors for the brand. I did mention it to one company but they never got back to me on it.
There was talk of JC engines producing a 23 a 32 and a 38. These were to come after their "all new" 60cc. I suspect that because of the poor and inconsistent performance of the 60cc, the other sizes won't be making ity to market in the near future (Kevin at JC needs to find "foreigners" to rip off to fund his family dinners etc while making a few shoddy parts to sell). I have seen pictures of the 23cc but looking at the bits, I would say you would be better off with a DLE 20 for now
So to summarise the answer - there is not YD-A 23cc but there has been promises of a JC 23cc for quite a while now.
Any other questions?
