I fly electric and most of the fields I travel to have 120 AC available. For the few that don't, I have a 1200W portable generator. I got mine on the "bay" for $180, shipped. I view it as cheap insurance against running my truck battery down - Did that once and that was enough. Theoretically, i don't need to recharge at the field. I have 4 sets of batteries, enough to get through all day on Saturday without recharging.

I'm building a "less bling intensive" box now. It has a 55 amp server power supply, a Turnigy 6 cell 4 port charger, and a Turnigy single port 6 cell charger for Tx and Rx batteries.
