I once found a digitized copy of a 1940s blue print buried deep on the internet. Came across it by accident, and once I realized it had all the actual dimensions and cross sections, I built a static 45” ws model – it was my first build after 30+ years. I’m not sure if the reproduction quality is good enough for a flying model, but the drawings couldn’t hurt. I’ll look for them. Keep looking, there’s a lot of DC-3 stuff out there, not much on the DC-4 though.

Like I said, it was my first build after 30+ years, when I cut the windows in I came across a stringer – didn’t plan for that!
