Default To Hot??

Hey guys, Iwas just about to buya Hard-Case Turnigy Battery, and then Iread some forums that had a guy's lipo puffed after running it in snow, it was a thunder power pack, so no brand-quality questioning, and everybody on the forum agreed and told him that hardcase lipos cant be run in the cold. Then, one guy agreed, but also said they cant be run in hot outdoor heat, say 95-100 degrees, then they all said that if the guy got a softcase lipo, there would be less chances of him puffing his lipo because apparently it retains it's heat better, and then in the summer, a soft case lipo would also be better? Iam just as confused as you are probably, but what Iam trying to ask is, Can HARDCASElipos be run safely in 30-40 degree weather as well as 90-100 degree weather, thanks!
