Default RE: Gearing up

The sets I have are the ones that originally came with the Integrals. I recommend you keep the Bolly's.

Bolly stopped making gear a couple years ago but you can get exact clones of those from http:\www.aeroproduct.net . The exact copy of the Bolly F3A Long you have on my old Integral are listed as Aero F3A Long. I ran those all last year on my latest Integral. The set I flew last season weighed slightly more than the original Bolly's but I got the first set out of the mold. I suspect they've gotten lighter as the molder's technique improved. BTW, I'm sure they're an exact copy of the set you've got because the set you have on your Integral were used to make the mold

Hi Verne,
I was hoping you would chime in here. You told me never to part with those gear and I always take you advice. I got a good deal on an airplane from Mike Doud for myself and the gear on it are the heavy Integral gear and I was looking for a possible longer and lighter replacement. The old CompArf gear were much lighter but I take it the ones you have are the brush cutters like I have on my new purchase. Say it ain't so and I'll get a set off of you.

I am not varying one iota from your set up on the Integral. I have a Hacker C5014XL ready to install with the CC 80 ICE. I think the ESC may be a little lighter though and I hope that won't be a problem. The plane will be as you left it except for that.
