RE: Looking for .049 Ringmaster plans with built up wing
There were all kinds of Cox 049s, from very mundane, boring, and moderate-powered (Baby Bee) through some intermediates, up to the remarkably high performance Tee Dee model, although various recent engines, such as the Fora, make the Tee Dee look very slow. I don't think that the Brodak 049 was intended to be a powerful competition engine like the Fora is.
("Scott17, How good does the baby ringmaster fly with the Brodak .049? I have a B' .049 and it doesn't seem as powerful as a Cox engine.")
I see that you asked this quite some while ago, so perhaps you don't need an answer any longer, but if you do, I am fairly certain that a properly broken in Brodak 049 should perform better than a Cox Golden Bee, and probably as well as a Black Widow.
