Default RE: Rich midrange fixes?

I put a much beefier spring in it. No a "Walbro" spring but much more tension. Same situation. 22x10 Mens should be pleanty of load? I am pretty sure I have a 24x10 but can't find it. If I do I'll try it.

Isn't there some trick about filing a notch in the butterfly? The notch lets in more air and leans the mixture.
