hey guys, anybody out there in r/c land flying a hanger 9 tribute 3-d plane. this is .32 -40 powered nitro plane from horizon and a few other retailers. pretty good looking plane ....not foam . a nice little plane to hover on, and not burn up a ton of fuel either...thanks for any input. i would guess it takes standard servos. it doesn't say on the website i don't think.......GEETER
It hovers great and takes standard size servos. This plane lands slower than any trainer I have seen. It consumes very little fuel (floats around just above idle). If its your first 3d plane and you have a computer radio I would set your control throws at 1/2 of the suggested low rate settings and set normal throws for high. Fly it around and get used to it then increase throws till you hit the 3d rates when comfortable. I fly with 2 other guys and we all feel that the Tribute floats and lands much smoother and easier than a trainer, its just far more responsive.
