And yes it is better to fly it with a DX6i, you can bind it easily, but one trick, because of it's electronic setup it is better to select plane mode and not heli mode in DX6i (it says this in the manual).
Highly debateable, in my opinion. If you know what you're doing with the programming, heli mode is DEFINITELYbetter. In "ACRO" or plane mode, there's no option to adjust throttle curve. Adjusting the throttle curve and having a non-linear throttle curve has two big advantages. 1) Better hover control and throttle response in the mid stick range. and 2) having butter smooth throttle response in the mid stick range will reduce the amount ANDseverity of torque changes coming off the main rotors since the speed changes will be smooth and gradual. This means the tail motor doesn't have to work as hard trying to speed up and slow down to compensate for the increase or decrease in torque from the main rotors. This goes a long way to giving you rock solid tail hold (or solidER tail hold) ANDextend the life of your tail motor.
