.... Smaller airplanes are cheaper, but doesn't mean they are inferior. I have found that crashes with airplanes to be far cheaper than crashing a heli.
There are very capable small aircraft out there. It was not my intention to infer that small meant headache. But it is still my intention to point out that for similarly sized aircraft, the rock-bottom cheap potentially means headache.
