Well, Things did not go as planned. I had everything ready, got the airfield clear for priority take off. Had everyone watching in anticipation. Taxied her out on the run way, went full throttle and she started to go left and right real bad. So I shut her down to be safe. Brought her back in and found the steering arm was loose. Tightened her up and tried another take off. Same results but worse. After taking her back to the bench, I found the steering arm set screw was stripped out. Probably from the other day, or could be from how rocky and rough the airfield is. So now Im off to the hobby shop to find a new steering arm. Gives me a week to go over a few more times and make sure the next attemp goes without a hitch.
