Default antennas

GTKERR,

I have a revolution mounted vertically inside my Kangaroo without any range degredation what-so-ever. Matter of fact, i'm getting 30' more range with the revolution over the stock wire antenna. The only issue with mounting inside the fuse would be if there is any carbon fiber in the nose of your bird (which I doubt) which will cause range problems. I did test the antenna in the horizontal position as well with no diffrence in range but chose to go vertical due to the location I choose to mount it. As always, perform extensive range testing before flying!! BTW, I also tested the length of the receiver wire which is supposed to be 4" cut to 10" which had no change in range, thus giving you more options on mounting locations in relationship to the receiver. The Deans antenna suggest this range of length (4-10") for theirs and thought I would test this option on the revolution.
